Love the ambiance to the point that I'm looking to purchase my own B&B
I always have the most amazing experience at this B&B! The home cooked breakfasts are amazing, the customer service and attention to detail is definitely worthy of the five star rating that accompanied my post today!! Had the pleasure of meeting the owners during one of my visits and I must comment on how sweet they are!! May God continue to bless your business!
This is a very nice place to stay, and the owners Colleen and John are great people. I checked in on a Sunday evening late and they were more than helpful in my late arrival. My room was very nice and very clean, the housekeeper does a great job and doesn't wake you up early in the mornings. The entire property is very nice and is beautiful. A short 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach or less than 5 minutes by vehicle; just cross the bridge and you're there. The area is very nice with some very good restaurants and shopping (if thats what you like to do) is right around the corner. If I am back in the are for a visit or vacation, I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend Sabal Palm House Bed and Breakfast ten out of ten times to anyone looking for a great place to stay while on their trip.
Omg what to say about this place? I got married in February and was delighted when my husband found a bed and breakfast in lake Worth which advertise on their website we serve afternoon tea. When I got there and asked what time they served teas the inn keeper told me we do not serve tea,you can imagine how disappointed we were. We could have booked anywhere else . We choose Sable Palm for one reason "high tea" however we have tea bags the inn keeper told us. I was confused and disappointed because I serve afternoon tea for a living so I was looking forward to be served on my short honeymoon.
Vacation ruined. No one is there past 6pm to check you in, you can't control your room temp, you can hear everything in and outside. Also the room we had the shower was extremely slippery and there were no shelving to place personal items. The bed was so so at best and the tv/DVD was a pain to use because the instructions didn't match the remotes in that room. They woke us up to get the c.c info they already had and gave us attitude for missing breakfast, nevermind that we didn't feel good. Also in the bathroom was a note to not use thier towels to wash off make up, that's a first and I consider very unprofessional as towels do get dirty. The owners were not very friendly and very standoffish. Also there were no options for breakfast, you eat whatever they make. Between the room and the owners overall I didn't feel relaxed, comfortable or welcomed at all, completely ruined our vacation.
