Because this place is older, the selector control is a knob that you turn, and when I went there today the knob was loose, making it difficult to tell which setting was chosen, which wastes time trying to figure it out while the clock is running down. Oh, and there is no visible clock timer. There is an audible beep to let you know when your time has almost run out, but I usually can't hear it over the noise of the sprayer.
What I do like at this wash is that when you don't pull the handle of the sprayer for the high-pressure spray, you get a low-pressure spray, which is perfect for convertible tops; washes that only have high-pressure spray can tear the stitched seams of convertible tops (I did that to my Miata years ago). Since the other washes around here seems to only have high-pressure wash, this is the main reason I still go here, to protect my cloth top from high-pressure damage.

The previous time I went there a few weeks ago, the soap spray had no soap, just water.

Convenient and quick
I come to this car wash often, and only use the self-serve; I've never paid their staff to wash, so I can't comment on how good their hand wash is.
These guys are great! Nothing fancy, but they do quality work and it is affordable. I have a lifted truck which limits my car wash options, but these guys take really good care of my baby. Thanks!
This car wash is small, having only three self-wash bays. The building seems old, and the bays are the most narrow of any car wash that I can recall using. I have a two-door car, and when I open the driver's door to get out I have to be very careful that I don't smack my door into the wall; it's kinda claustrophobic in there to me, and it can be a challenge to move around in there when you're trying to clean quickly.
